BBQ Pork Burger

Method (Serves 6)

  1. Finely chop the onion, red pepper and garlic, place in a bowl with all other ingredients, season and mix well, split into 6 equal amounts and flatten into a burger shape.
  2. Put the burgers on a plate, cover with cling film and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat the grill to maximum temperature, place the burgers on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes depending on their thickness, making sure the juices run clear before you serve.
  4. Cut the bun open and lightly grill it inside down, place a burger on the bun, add a good spoonful of coleslaw and grain mustard.
Ingredients
  • 300g minced pork fillet
  • 200g sausage meat,
  • plain 2 tspn Jerk seasoning
  • 30g BBQ sauce
  • 1 red pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ½ red onion
  • Salt to taste White pepper to taste

To serve: - Brioche bun, coleslaw, grain mustard mayonnaise
